Printing is by The New York Lithographing Company- The Paper for this printing is a cream -white vellum, specially made for "A Journal of the Plague Year" by The Beckett Paper Company of Hamilton Ohio. Regarding the binding it is worth noting the interesting texture covering the boards, it is a burlap pattern in allusion to the wrappings of the plague victims, but dyed to harmonize with the tones of Gnoli's illustrations. Very interesting reading and a SUPERB and UNIQUE Gift.
